-Minimum age is 15years old (exception is a parent-child team) - No substitutes for team members if you build it you must sail it -No paper plans (if you are caught you can race, but cant win) *

Location of Event: June 10th 2023 Build the boat- 9am-5pm City Hall. Sail the Boat June 11, 2023-Cowbay walking Wharf time TBD *

I understand, we will be there

Tools will be available for general use, i.e., table saw, circular saw, drill kit and caulking gun. Safety glasses will be provided for use (mandatory to be worn) during boat building. Life Jackets will be supplied (mandatory to be worn) for sailing the boats. *Supplied Materials: 3 small tubes of caulking, 2 sheets plywood, 2 ½” deck screws, 1 ¾” drywall screws. The equivalent of 4 – 2”x 2”x 8’ (2x2x8 or 1x2x8) *

Participation Agreement In consideration of this entry, we understand that the consumption of drugs and/or alcohol are prohibited immediately before and during both the building event on Saturday, and the sailing event on Sunday. *

Indemnity Agreement In consideration of this entry, we waive and release all and any rights of claim for damages we may have or acquire against Rupert Wood’N Steel Construction Ltd., Rupert Special Events Society, the City of Prince Rupert and or any sponsor of the event, for any and all injuries and damages caused to or by us, and we acknowledge the rules laid down to govern this event, and that it remains our responsibility as entrants to act and govern ourselves in such a manner as to be responsible for our own safety. *
